            Seems that the Nexus Mod Manager team can't be bother to fix the problems with the servers of updating the Nexus Mod Manager. Either they becoming foppish a-holes or they are becoming out of touch and out of reach of reality. I have no leading clues of what is going on. I still can download mods from this site which is still good but it seems they can't be bothered of fixing the server of the Nexus Mod and supporting the Nexus Mod Manager further more. It's good to know that someone is helping out with the Nexus Mod Manager.

                  NMM is no longer supported, you have to download Vortex which is apparently their new version of a Mod Manager.

                    That file is already in my download folder... This is interesting.

                    How... I don't know when the f*ck I downloaded that or why I didn't install it when I did but thanks for that post! Everything seems to be working now!! =D

                        Am I the only person right now (22nd July, 201Installing Fallout 4 Mods using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) (27) that's completely unable to download any new mods with NMM because the program can't reach the nexus server to log me in?

                        Side note; update version 0.65.2 and I have read every f*cking fix for this under the virtual sun over the last 4 days! I have run out of things to try and just about given up on fixing it. I'm just wondering how many others are having this problem, I can't be alone!

                        Also. I can't start a new thread here about it and I'm not actually sure where I would put the topic. If anyone would point me there or to the existing thread on it (I know there MUST already be one on this subject!) I would be very grateful.

                              Or use another manager.

                                So how do you use Nexus mod manager in fallout 4 without the already installed mod manager that's already in the game. Like I know it's convenient to have a mod manager already in game but the mods they provide are fewer then what nexus provides and I want to use nexus instead of the builtin mod manager.

                                    ive been having trouble with CBBE i know a lot of armor mods require CBBE. it just shows the vanilla skin. so i tried a hair mod and all the hair selections were there but they had little to no hair! this is showing me that my mods are getting into the game but arent functioning properly. ive already tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling also tried.

                                    bEnableFileSelection=1

                                    You will need to add the following line in Fallout4Custom.ini:

                                    [Archive]
                                    bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
                                    sResourceDataDirsFinal=
                                    please if anyone can help me with this i really want this to work.

                                                nmm has become absolute sh*t lately. no way to tell which mods are the main mod and which ones are the small patches for it, so no way to know which one to install first. im over using nmm. is there any way to activate mods without being forced to use this absolute sh*t program?

                                                            The Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) is a free and open source piece of software that allows you to download, install, update and manage your mod files through an easy to use interface.

                                                            Can I still use Nexus Mod Manager? ›

                                                            Can you still use Nexus Mod Manager? While Vortex has taken the limelight for the past few years, NMM is still available to download and install on Windows. You can access mods for the games in its portfolio, letting you make changes to many of your favorite old titles.

                                                            What mod manager does Nexus Mods use? ›

                                                            Vortex is designed to seamlessly interact with Nexus Mods allowing you to easily find, install, and play mods from our site, learn about new files and catch the latest news.

                                                            Why are my mods not working in Fallout 4? ›

                                                            The Multi HD Install feature is disabled when you install the game and the mods on different hard drives. Outdated Nexus Mod Manager can cause issues with some plugin files, which can trigger Fallout 4 mods not downloading. Faulty mods can trigger issues with the process of using mods on Fallout 4.

                                                            What is the best Fallout 4 mod manager? ›

                                                            There is no "best" it just depends on your preference. Most will say either MO2 or Vortex. MO2 is confusing but definitely superior. It's worth using over Vortex imo.

                                                            Where are the Fallout 4 mods stored? ›

I don't understand the second question. NMM downloads mods under it's own installation folder and installs them in to your game Data folder - where they should be.
