In the first Raw post Clash at the Castle, WWE offered up a huge night as Seth Rollins returned, Drew McIntyre quit, and The Wyatt Sicks debuted. The company also started to set up Money in the Bank by holding ladder match qualifiers. There was solid action, but the end of the show was perhaps the most memorable ending in years.

Here are your winners and losers for Raw, June 17, 2024:

Winner: Seth Rollins' Return

Seth "Freakin" Rollins made an unexpected return to Raw to open the show. He wasted no time setting his sights on the World Title. He was interrupted by Damian Priest, who challenged Rollins to a match at Money in the Bank, setting the stage for an epic showdown.

Rollins' return was a great way to start off the show. The crowd popped huge for his music. After a couple of months away, it was clear how big a deal he is in WWE and his interest in the title and willingness to go to the back of the line brings freshness to the title scene, even if he's held the belt before. Priest feels like he's got something to prove so he pulled Rollins to the front of the line.

Winner/Loser: Braun Strowman vs. Chad Gable

After multiple failed attempts against Sami Zayn, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce shot down Chad Gable's request for another Intercontinental Championship match. Instead, he booked him against Braun Strowman. The Monster of All Monsters was seemingly being handed the Sami Zayn role for the night and sticking up for Alpha Academy. Gable took a beating for most of the match and failed to pick up the win. Post-match, an annoyed Gable started berating Akira Tozawa which led to Otis finally snapping and shoving Gable, signaling the end of their partnership.

While the segment was seemingly intended to be Otis's big turn against Gable, it felt a bit underwhelming. The crowd's reaction was positive, but the moment lacked the dramatic impact one would expect from such a significant storyline development. This was good, but WWE has been building up to this for weeks. This wasn't the level of getting even most had hoped for Otis. The fans did chant Otis' name, so perhaps WWE is dragging out his revenge on Gable in the same way they dragged out Gable emotionally abusing the group.

Winner: Money in the Bank Qualifier – Zelina Vega vs. Kiana James vs. Iyo Sky

Iyo Sky advanced in the first Money in the Bank qualifier of the night with a win. She defeated Kiana James and Zelina Vega in a Triple Threat Match. Liv Morgan showed up in Dom's purple cow vest and caused a distraction that allowed Sky to capitalize and secure the win.

This was a great match, earning a "this is awesome" chant from the crowd. Morgan involving herself hints at a possible title match between her and Vega at Money in the Bank. Kiana James losing here might not be ideal, but she didn't look out of place despite her Raw inexperience.

Winner: Sami Zayn's Celebration Interrupted

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn took to the ring to say he was done with Chad Gable. He then offered up the opportunity to anyone who felt they deserved a shot at the IC Title, only to be interrupted by Bron Breakker and Sheamus. Each made their argument and got in the other's face. Sheamus talked down to Breakker, calling him the "new kid" which got under Breakker's skin. Zayn egged them both on in a very Sami kind of way.

Sheamus vs. Breakker is a match Zayn was trying to set up and how can fans be disappointed with that idea? It was set to go down later in the night.

Winner: Dragon Lee vs. Carlito

Dragon Lee sought revenge against Carlito in a one-on-one match that was long overdue. The match itself was solid, with enough chaos to keep fans engaged. Carlito picked up a win, something that doesn't happen too often these days. Interference from Judgment Day members and a ringside brawl involving Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega allowed Carlito to emerge victorious with his Backstabber finisher. This segment successfully advanced multiple storylines, including the ongoing feud between Judgment Day and the LWO, as well as the budding rivalry between Morgan and Vega.

Loser: Drew McIntyre Quits WWE

Frustrated after being screwed out of the World Heavyweight Championship by CM Punk (who dressed as a referee during Clash at the Castle), Drew McIntyre unexpectedly quit WWE. "I can't do this anymore. Screw this company. I quit." Despite pleas from Triple H and Adam Pearce, McIntyre walked out, leaving his future in WWE uncertain.

While the segment aimed to build drama, it felt rushed and lacked the emotional weight needed to make McIntyre's departure impactful. The execution was clumsy, and it remains to be seen how this storyline will develop. For fans following closely, they know McIntyre isn't leaving because he just signed a new WWE contract. Maybe he's taking a break.

Ultimately, is he just playing his leverage as a WWE Superstar and is he going to force Pearce and Triple H to bend to his demands to keep him? The way this was put together, it's hard to tell if this was supposed to be planned or a spur-of-the-moment decision.

Winner: Sheamus vs Bron Breakker

Zayn was ringside as Sheamus and Bron Breakker had their match. Sheamus endured Breakker's attacks and was about to deliver a Brogue Kick when Ludwig Kaiser caused a disqualification by pulling him to the floor. Kaiser attacked Sheamus, setting up a feud between the two. Kaiser set up Sheamus to brutally attack his leg, but Breakker cut him off with a huge spear as he sprinted around the ring. The segment ended with a tense staredown between Breakker and Zayn. This was a good push for Breakker, a solid build for Kaiser and Sheamus and Zayn now has his next rival.

Winner: Money in the Bank Qualifier – Jey Uso vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Finn Balor

Jey Uso qualified for Money in the Bank by defeating Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor in a thrilling main event. Judgment Day took out Rey Mysterio until Strowman came out to chase them away. The match allowed each participant their moments, with Uso securing the win after following up Balor's Coup de Grâce with an Uso Splash.

Putting these three in a match was bound to make for a solid segment. All can work and it added to the feeling that Raw got a shot in the arm in terms of their roster depth on Monday.

The main event delivered on all fronts. Uso's qualification adds star power to the Money in the Bank match, and the bout itself was a fitting almost ending to the show.

Winner: The Arrival of Uncle Howdy And His Creepy Faction

The night ended with the much-anticipated debut of the Uncle Howdy-led faction, known as the Wyatt Sicks. A mix of talent and security was shown beaten and unconscious in the back. Fans will be combing over that footage for days trying to figure out who was in the pile of bodies, but notably, Chad Gable and Gunther (at least it looked like Gunther) were among the prominent people laid out.

This led to the dramatic entrance of Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and finally, Uncle Howdy himself.

This was a standout moment in the show. The group's debut was handled expertly, with excellent camera work. Howdy said, "We're here." as the show closed, creating a sense of dread and anticipation for future episodes. Members of the WWE Universe who were eagerly waiting for this likely weren't let down. Fans will certainly be on the edge of their seats waiting for what comes next.
